DESCRIPTION:Orléans-Cumberland Community Resource Centre and St Helen’s Anglican Church presents Fall Final Garden Fling. \nAs the growing season winds down\, it’s time to give our gardens the care they need to rest and recharge for the year ahead. Our special speaker\, Nancy McDonald\, a member of the Ottawa Horticultural Society and Master Gardener of Ottawa Carleton\, will provide an overview of end-of-season tasks that will help to keep your gardens thriving for the upcoming growing season with confidence and set the stage for a healthy\, vibrant garden next year. \nYou will also have the opportunity to hear about the Green Thumb Community Garden that provides produce for the OCCRC Food Bank. \nLight refreshments will be served. There is no charge for this event. Please join us. Notre conférencière spéciale\, Nancy McDonald\, membre de la Société d’horticulture d’Ottawa et maître jardinière d’Ottawa Carleton\, vous donnera un aperçu des tâches de fin de saison qui vous aideront à garder vos jardins en pleine santé pour la prochaine saison de croissance et à préparer le terrain pour un jardin sain et vigoureux l’année prochaine. \nVous aurez également l’occasion d’en savoir plus sur le jardin communautaire «La main verte» qui fournit des légumes à la banque alimentaire de CRCOC. \nDes rafraîchissements légers seront servis.
